  • Starting the Game
    • Select anywhere on the game welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
      • Initially only the first level is unlocked.
      • Each time you beat a level it unlocks the next.
      • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
      • Game Controls
        • Desktop
          • Use your mouse left click button to select number tiles and drag them into the correct positions.
          • Touchscreen devices
            • Touch the screen with a finger to select number tiles and drag them into play.
            • Controls & indicators
              • Across the top of the game there is a level select button, the current level number, and a sound control button.
              • Underneath those indicators are the colored box icons which show both how much each box must sum to and the current sum of the tiles inside those boxes.
              • At the bottom of the screen are the tiles you can drag into play.
              • Game Play
                • Levels
                  • This game has 60 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
                  • When you play there is not concept of dying in this game, nor a level score, rather you can keep moving tiles until you solve for the correct answer.
                  • As you advance through the game the number of colored boxes and the quantity of number tiles increases.
                  • Basics
                    • This is an addition logic puzzle game where you must position the number tiles into the playing field so that the number tiles in each colored box add up to the amount shown at the top of the screen.
                    • When all boxes add to the correct sums the game makes a cash register sound and the level is beat.
                    • You do not have to use all number tiles at the bottom in order to beat the puzzles. On some puzzles you can win with tiles remaining.
                    • Strategy
                      • There are many ways to break the game up to make it easier to solve depending on the box configuration and tile set.
                      • Use logic to solve the most simple problems first and then as you play tiles work on the more complex ones with less certainty.
                        • If one box is inside another try to solve the inside box first.
                        • If two squares heavily overlap and have a small difference in total then try to add to the lower box amount in the overlapping squares & then add a tile valued at the difference amount inside the nonoverlapping part of the higher rectangle.
                        • If there is a single square which overlaps multiple squares you can often solve for which number must go in there based upon the totals for the colored boxes.
                        • If a colored rectangle has a low numerical value which can only be solved by one specific tile, or a value which can only be created by adding 2 specific tiles you can solve it first.
                        • Iterative play
                          • As you play the box totals at the top automatically update.
                          • You can place tiles into position and then adjust their positions to solve the puzzles.
                          • It typically makes sense to place the highest value square in the box with the highest sum, even if only as a placeholder you can move later.
                          • It typically makes sense to place the highest tile values first as you are not required to use all tiles to solve the puzzles & keeping the lower puzzles for later allows you to add up to many different numerical combinations.
                          • If you have solved all colors correctly with the exception of one rectangle being under value look for how you can move a tile of that value mismatch amount to a part of one of the other colored boxes that does overlaps the box which has too low of a value.
                          • If you have solved all colors correctly with the exception of one rectangle being over value look for how you can move a tile of that value mismatch amount to a part of one of the other colored boxes that does not overlap the box which has too high of a value.
                          • If you run out of tiles and one area is significantly short it means you need to use higher value squares in the overlapping sections of the puzzle.
                          • If you get lost and too many numbers are far off you can go back to the level select screen to reselect the level and play it again from scratch.
                          • Target Audience
                            • The game is suited for students who are want to practice adding numbers or like simple math games.
                            • The game has no adult themed content.
