How to Play

Play Color Plates online for free. In Color Plates, you must wait for the bouncing ball to slowly reveal the plates after passing through the tiles 5 times. Destroy and collect the plates that appear before the ball passes through them. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

On the welcome screen, select Play below the title of the game to begin.
Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - With your mouse, left click to destroy red plates and collect green plates.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - Tap on the screen with your fingers and use them as a mouse.
    - Game Play
      - Objectives
        The ball will automatically pass over the grid of colored tiles.
        Each of the colored tiles will change color every time the ball passes by them, in the following order:
        Purple
        Pink
        Yellow
        White
        After the ball passes through white tiles, they turn into glowing red plates.
        Clear out the plates as they appear.
        Left click or tap on these plates to destroy them. These will turn them into green plates.
        Repeat the process to collect the green plates.
        Do not let the ball touch any of the plates.
        If you do, it’s game over.
        This becomes more difficult as more and more of the tiles turn white.
        Scoring
        You have 2 scores:
        Your main score is calculated based on the number of tiles your ball has passed over.
        You also get a secondary score based on the number of green plates you’ve collected.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like idle tapping games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
