Starting the Game

Left click or tap anywhere on the welcome screen to begin.
Select one of three game modes to play:

        Basics
        As Lincoln, kill as many germs as you can within the time limit.
        To kill germs, spray down a green germ splotch until it disappears.
        Keep as many rooms clear of germs as you can.
        You cannot enter a room that’s too infected.
        Avoid contact with the germ splotches.
        Doing so will slowly get you infected.
        If you get too infected, it’s game over.
        Collect disinfectant spray bottles and gas masks.
        Spray bottles replenish your supply of disinfectants. They can be found in the following rooms:
        Kitchen
        Upstairs hallway
        Bathroom
        Gas masks provide temporary protection against germ infections. They appear at random in some rooms.
        Bug bombs
        Bug bombs kill off all the germs in the room.
        Activate a bug bomb by getting near it.
        You get slightly infected when you stay too close to an exploding bug bomb.
        Use the map to find out where you are in the house.
        View the map via the target-shaped map button on the upper right corner of the screen.
        Pause the game by selecting the pause button next to the map button.
        Rules
        Squirm Off
        Spray all the rooms until you’ve killed more than 1 trillion germs.
        You have 10 minutes to kill off that many germs.
        Do not get infected.
        Squirm and Protect
        Kill more than 1 trillion germs within 10 minutes.
        Do not lose more than 3 rooms or its game over.
        Basement Blitz
        You receive infinite disinfectant spray.
        Clear out as many germs as you can in the basement before you get too infected.
        Strategy
        Know where the location of the spray bottles are.
        Make sure you retain access to these locations.
        If you haven’t entered them in a while, consider getting a mask so you can reach the spray bottle safely.
        Use the bug bombs to your advantage.
        You need only to spray enough to reach the bug bombs.
        Consider wearing a mask to reach them to save on disinfectant.
        They activate even if you leave the room. Regardless, they will save you time and disinfectant.
        Watch your step.
        Spray while walking if you enter a new room whenever you can.
        Pick up a mask before going to a room to refill your disinfectant spray.
