                            • Continue from the last level you’ve unlocked.

                                • The tiles must be connectable by a single line with no more than 2 right angles.
                                • Adjacent pairs of tiles can also be selected and removed.
                                • Remove all the tiles onscreen before the timer expires to clear the level.
                                  • Level time
                                    • You start with 5 minutes on the clock on the first level.
                                    • Later levels have a progressively shorter time limit and more tiles.
                                    • Each level has a 15-second shorter time limit.
                                    • You fail the level if you don’t clear all the stones in time.
                                      • You can try again.
                                      • You can also end your playthrough. This lets you save your score in the leaderboard.
                                      • Tile count
                                        • The first level contains a 6 by 4 grid of 24 stones, which creates 12 stone sets.
                                        • The second level contains a 6 by 5 grid of 30 stones, which creates 15 stone sets.
                                        • The third level contains a 8 by 5 grid of 40 stones, which creates 20 stone sets.
                                        • The fourth level contains a 9 by 6 grid of 54 stones, which creates 27 stone sets.
                                        • The fifth level contains a 10 by 7 grid of 70 stones, which creates 35 stone sets.
                                        • The sixth level contains a 11 by 8 grid of 88 stones, which creates 44 stone sets.
                                        • Stages 7 through 16 have the same grid size as level 6, but less time to complete the stage.
                                        • Filling
                                          • Some Mahjong Connect games fill tiles in a particular direction on each level.
                                          • This game does not fill or move other tiles as you remove tiles from the board.
                                          • Scoring
                                            • Scoring is cumulative in this game. Your score from one level carries over to the next.
                                              • Every pair of tiles you clear adds 50 points to your total score.
                                              • You also receive a stacking chain bonus for every pair you remove less than a few seconds from one another.
                                                • The bonus varies based on how many pairs you remove in succession.
                                                • The base amount is 30 points & the sequence goes like this: 30, 60, 100, 150, 210, 280, 360, 450, 550, 660, 780, 910, 1,050, 1,200, 1,360, 1,530, 1,710, 1,900, 2,100, etc.
                                                • After finishing, you also receive 30 bonus points for every second remaining on the timer.
                                                • There are two ways to save your total score:
                                                  • Play through all 16 levels.
                                                  • End the playthrough after a game over.
                                                  • Hints and shuffles
                                                    • If you’re ever stuck, you can use hints and shuffles to help you out.
                                                      • Selecting the hint button will show you any valid pair of tiles.
                                                      • Shuffles rearrange the stones on the stack. This is useful if you want to make more obvious pairs. The game will also shuffle the field automatically if you run out of valid moves.
                                                      • You only get 3 of these for each level. They get replenished after you finish
                                                      • Using hints and shuffles come with a point penalty.
                                                        • Hints cost 200 points.
                                                        • Manual shuffles cost 300 points. Automatic shuffles are free.
                                                        • Strategy
                                                          • The key to maximizing your score in this game is to try to create chain bonuses which last the entire level for each stage, or at least try to make most of the stage a chain bonus.
                                                            • To keep the chain bonus going it helps to connect some tiles that are a decent distance apart so that it gives you more time to make other matches.
                                                            • The wallpaper stones move toward each other rapidly in this game, so it is quite hard to keep a chain bonus going for the full level.
                                                            • Since you can’t replay beat levels, if you make a mistake on a level you can intentionally lose it to replay it or refresh your web browser to reload the current level to play it again.
                                                            • Target Audience
                                                              • The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Connect tile match games.
                                                              • The game has no adult themed content.
