Play Nuwpy's Adventure online for free. Nuwpy's Adventure is a fun 20-stage coin collecting horizontal platforming game with a retro pixelated design. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

On the welcome screen:
- Select Play to begin the game in earnest.
- Select How to Play to view the game’s controls.
- Select More Games to check out other games on the site.
- Select Reset Data to clear your progress.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and best score.
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Arrow keys
      - Use the left and right arrow keys to move.
      - Use the up arrow key to jump. Hold down to double jump.
      - Alphanumeric keys
        Use the A and D keys to move.
        Use the W key to jump. Hold down to double jump.
        Mouse
        Left click the pause button on the top right corner to open the pause menu.
        On the pause menu, left click on the virtual joystick option to turn it on.
        Left click and drag the virtual joystick to move around.
        Left click on the right side of the screen to jump. Left click and hold to double jump.
        Touchscreen devices
        With your fingers:
        Tap and hold down the left side of the screen to activate the virtual joystick. Use the joystick to move.
        Tap on the right side of the screen to jump. Tap and hold to double jump.
        Game Play
        Levels
        This game does not have an option for level selection.
        Once you finish the first level, the second one begins automatically.
        Each time you load up the game, it will play the last level you unlocked unless you select Reset Data on the welcome screen.
        Basic
        Move to the end of the level
        Collect as many coins as you can
        Avoid enemies and various hazards along the way.
        Reach check points.
        Lives and checkpoints
        If you fall down a chasm, land on spikes, or make contact with an enemy, you die instantly.
        The screen goes black when you die and you start all over again.
        If you reach a checkpoint, you respawn there instead of the very beginning.
        Checkpoints appear as flags strewn throughout the level.
        To claim a checkpoint, just pass over it.
        The game saves the progress you collected up until the last point you died, but you only respawn on the check points.
        Terrain
        Most platforms can be reached through jumping or double jumping.
        Some platforms and coins are too high up for your to jump.
        These can only be reached by jumping onto an easier to reach platform further down the level.
        Prepare to do a lot of backtracking
        Cross chasms by jumping. Fall into them and you die.
        Watch out for rickety bridges. They are only walkable for a short time.
        The chasms they leave behind can be difficult (if not impossible) to surmount.
        Enemies
        Enemies walk all across the level. Coming into contact with them is instant death.
        Fortunately, you can defeat most enemies by stomping on them.
        Some enemies cannot be stomped on.
        It’s often better to avoid or dodge enemies than actively trying to defeat them.
        Collecting and scoring
        Each coin you collect adds to your score.
        See the number of coins you collected on the top center of the screen.
        View your final score from the previous levels on the top left corner.
        You receive your final score for the level only when you complete it.
        the game shows your current high score on the welcome screen.
        Interface
        On the top right corner below the level name is the sound button. Select this to toggle the game’s audio.
        Open the pause menu by selecting the pause button next to the sound button.
        Scanlines FX: Toggles the monitor line effects to give the game an analog screen look
        Virtual joystick: Activates the virtual joystick
        Full Screen: Switches to full screen mode and back
        Menu: Returns you to the welcome screen
        Resume: Returns you to the game
        Target Audience
        People who like retro platformers should like this game.
        There are no adult themes in this game.
